The Hastings Youth Services and Youth Advocate Program provides confidential counseling to youth and families. These programs also offer after school, weekend and vacation week programming, including a supervised game room and homework room, as well as many other supportive services.

The YAP is funded through a New York State OASAS grant (Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services), Friends of the Hastings Youth Council and private donations.

The Youth Council provides oversight and supervision for the programs and staff.
